Day care patients take trip to Felixstowe
When you live with a progressive or terminal illness it can be difficult to do some things that many of us see as ‘normal’.
This is where the hospice can help. Today, our day service team helped around 18 patients enjoy a trip to #Felixstowe where they enjoyed a fish and chip lunch, a stroll along the prom and an ice cream by the sea. All the time they were cared for by our nursing team who carefully looked after everyone’s individual needs.
Your donations enable us to be able to provide this trip today and is another example of how we at St Elizabeth Hospice ‘don’t let death kill life’.
Here are a few pictures from our day out at the seaside.
