Classics at Glemham raises over £20,000
More than £20,000 has been raised for St Elizabeth Hospice by the much-loved car show, Classics at Glemham.
Taking place on 1st September at Glemham Hall, the family fun day and car show, featured a range of classic cars, car club stands, children’s attractions, military vehicles, commercial vehicles and motorcycles on display.
In total £20,000 was raised by the event, surpassing the £10,850 raised for the hospice in 2023, with funds going towards the independent Suffolk charity’s vital services throughout East & Mid Suffolk Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney.
Celia Joseph, community & projects fundraising manager at St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “What an incredible amount has been raised this year.
“We cannot thank all the team at Classics at Glemham for another brilliant event, and to all the exhibitors who brought their stunning vehicles for us all to see and to the public for coming along to support this great event.
“This sterling support contributed to the event raising a phenomenal amount of money for St Elizabeth Hospice which will help us to continue to provide our services to over 4,000 patients and their families each year in East & Mid Suffolk and Great Yarmouth and Waveney.
“We are extremely grateful to the team, the sponsors and all the volunteers who made this year’s Classics at Glemham such a big success and one that had something for everyone to enjoy.”
