Classic car raises funds for St Elizabeth Hospice

A classic car enthusiast has been using his talents to fundraise for St Elizabeth Hospice.

Martin Balmforth decided to fundraise for the hospice by auctioning his replica Ford Cortina in memory of his friend, John McGregor who was cared for by the hospice before he passed away in 2017.

The car was built as a 1:43 scale replica of the car John owned. Martin’s Facebook auction raised £170 for the hospice after the car was won by the highest bidder, John’s sister, Charlotte Moore.
