Celebrate World Book Day with Elmer and £5 worth of free books
St Elizabeth Hospice is offering the chance to get £5 worth of books when customers buy one of their special Elmer ornaments in celebration of World Book Day.
The colourful Elmer ornaments were part of the successful Elmer trail during the summer last year. The trail, which raised £261,500 for St Elizabeth Hospice, proved to be extremely popular with 390,000 visitors engaging with the trail and 79% of people spending more time in Ipswich as a result.
Shops across Suffolk, North Essex, Great Yarmouth and Waveney will have Elmer figurines on sale from £13 and for every one that is sold, customers can select £5 worth of any books in store.
From Roald Dahl to Shakespeare, fiction to autobiographies, the charity is encouraging children and adults alike to join in and rekindle their love of reading.
St Elizabeth Hospice shops will be running the offer from Monday 2nd March through until Sunday 15th March, with World Book Day taking place on Thursday 5th March. Find where your local shop is by clicking here.
Terms and conditions of offer:£5.00 worth of books must be selected in store at the time of Elmer purchase and cannot be redeemed after purchase. Elmers priced £13 or £16 depending on model.
