You were all amazing and it was so nice to be alongside our supporters as we raised funds for the hospice.“Every penny raised really will make a difference as we expand our care to support more patients, and their families, throughout East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney, during difficult times in their lives when care matters most.”Sponsored, once again by Escape Ipswich, there were two Firewalk sessions held between 3.30pm to 6pm and 7pm to 9.30pm.Two brave ‘soles’ participating in this year’s Firewalk are St Elizabeth Hospice Inpatient Unit Team Leaders Kelly Irodenko and Rachel Wheeler. Rachel said: “The Firewalk was so much fun to be a part of and it was so nice to be fundraising alongside the local community and we had lots of brilliant supporters cheering everyone as well, which was great to see.“A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who helped make Firewalk happen – the organisation team, volunteers and the sponsors. As a nursing team we are so proud to do our jobs and being a part of events like this is very special to us.”
