Brand new event for Ipswich revealed
Fans of the hit TV show Ninja Warrior UK are in for a treat this summer as a local charity brings the show to life in Ipswich.
St Elizabeth Hospice has revealed that its latest fundraising event for this year will be Extreme Ninja Assault, a large outdoor obstacle course based on the ITV programme.
Taking place at Ipswich Rugby Club in Humber Doucy Lane on Saturday 16 June, the event is designed to test the agility and nerve of participants as they scramble through nets, duck and dive the up and overs and make their way through the rats runs all before slamming down on the final button to claim their medal at the end.
Natalie Hill, events and challenges fundraiser at St Elizabeth Hospice said: “We’re really excited about this new event and pleased that we’re able to bring something a bit different to local people.
“This event is fun for all the family and there will be adult and junior challenges so that everyone can take part on the day.
“While having a fantastic time, you’ll also know that all money raised from the event, through entry fees and sponsorship, will stay in the local area and be used by the hospice to help provide care and support for those living with a progressive or terminal illness.”
Tickets to the event are on sale now and are priced at £20 per person and £8 per child aged three to 16 if purchased before the early bird deadline of 15 April 2018. Ticket prices will then rise to £25 for adults and £13 for children.
