Bethesda Eventide Homes celebrates 2 years of accreditation

03 December 2025

Bethesda Eventide Homes, Ipswich, has recently celebrated 2 years of being part of St Elizabeth Hospice Care Home Accreditation.

The accreditation is awarded by St Elizabeth Hospice and is tailored for care homes and care agencies that wish to improve their delivery of palliative and end-of-life care services.

Tom Horrex, Home Manager at Bethesda Eventide Homes, was excited to welcome the Hospice Education team, plus St Elizabeth Hospice Director of Care, Lisa Parrish, to the residential home to celebrate the landmark.

The accreditation supports the great care offered to its residents, and rounds off another year of working with St Elizabeth Hospice. A year which also saw Bethesda Eventide Homes win the End of Life Care Award at the Suffolk Care Awards.

Currently, 10 care homes in Suffolk and North East Essex are part of the accreditation, with training provided by the Hospice Education team.

It demonstrates to families and professionals that those with the accreditation offer good professional standards in end-of-life care provision.

St Elizabeth Hospice and St Nicholas Hospice support care homes in Suffolk, whilst St Helena work with care homes in North East Essex.
