What is on offer?

The Compassionate Caregiver Support Group provides a safe space to connect with others caring for a loved one with a life-limiting illness.

Led by St Elizabeth Hospice’s counsellors and emotional wellbeing team, you will be able to connect with others in similar circumstances, share personal experiences and support each other.

The group aims to:

  • Create a space for self-compassion
  • Helps you learn new ways of coping through mindfulness and body awareness
  • Reduces feelings of loneliness, anxiety and distress
  • Increases feelings of empowerment
  • Provides you with the opportunity to express your feelings around your unique experience
  • Helps you communicate better with your loved ones
  • Bring awareness of what is true for you in the present moment.
