Together with some of our hospice colleagues, we are here to support staff working in the hospice and in our accredited care homes with the challenges of working with people who are living with illness and who are dying.
Particularly during the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, we are committed to supporting staff with the emotional demands placed upon them.
The staff support line is available to any member of staff to call Monday to Friday 9am-4pm. Calls are confidential. We can:
- Listen to what is troubling you
- Offer advice and support
- Signpost you to other services if appropriate
- Arrange ongoing support
Sometimes, it may be helpful for a team to meet together to discuss and process a particularly difficult experience or situation. We can facilitate such meetings, helping teams to learn from experiences, communicate better, build resilience and gain strength from each other.
