Lifeguard Long Lugs

Hannah Jayne Lewin, a Yorkshire-based freelance illustrator, creates fun characters to make people smile. With a background in children’s book illustration, she also works on murals, licensing, sculptures, and window art for clients like Scholastic and Thortful. Her “Lifeguard Long Lugs” hare honours Lowestoft Lifeboat Station, featuring a uniform, lifebuoy, whistle, and lifeboats, celebrating the station’s lifesaving work at sea.
