Our sculpture’s name is a play on words – Be Prepared is the Guides’ motto – devised by our founder Agnus Baden Powell. Since April 2019, in partnership with East Coast Community Healthcare, we have cared for over 6,000 patients in the Great Yarmouth & Waveney area.
We have 6 palliative care beds at Beccles Hospital, providing specialist consultant and general medical support for patients. However, 70% of our care is actually provided in people’s homes or other settings in the community. We support local care homes and our medical team provides specialist palliative care support at James Paget University Hospitals.
