Calling all dog lovers! Join us for an exciting day of fun, furry friends, and community spirit at our Suffolk Dog Day Event! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a pawsitive success.

Roles available:

Show Ring Assistants: Help support the dog show ring, guide participants, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Ticketing & Registration: Welcome guests, assist with check-in, and distribute tickets for raffles and events.

Activity Support: Run dog-friendly games, competitions, and interactive activities for attendees.

St Elizabeth Hospice has a volunteer mileage/expenses policy which allows volunteers to claim expenses and mileage incurred whilst carrying out their role for the hospice.

At events we use photography and video to help promote the event and also to create memories for those who take part. This comes from a wide range of sources (including other participants and spectators) on a voluntary basis and is sometimes not arranged by St Elizabeth Hospice. Publicity consent is not sought at events; however, if approached by a photographer or videographer we would ask that you participate in good spirits, if you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please politely decline when approached or bring the matter to the attention of a member of our staff. We do, however, reserve the right to use footage or images supplied to us where you might be included.

Please note: to volunteer at this event you must be 18 or over, or be volunteering with someone who is 18 or over
