Volunteer Role Description
There are some volunteer roles that we are recruiting for and are now being advertised separately, so please take a look.
At the moment we don’t know when a specific role will become available, but if there’s a role you’re interested in which isn’t being advertised, whether it’s a hospice , community or Events volunteer role, we would love you to apply using the link below. On the form there is a section for a Personal Statement. Please use that box to tell us more about the type of role that interests you. We will contact you when we receive your application and let you know when the role you are interested in becomes available.
Our department managers are very supportive and will help you settle into any role you choose. Any time you can give to the hospice is gratefully received and we will be as flexible as possible with when you are able to volunteer.
In exchange for your time we can offer camaraderie, experience helping members of the public and new skills to add to your CV.
St Elizabeth Hospice has a volunteer mileage/expenses policy which allows volunteers to claim expenses and mileage incurred whilst carrying out their role for the hospice.
