Gorleston, Holywells and Martlesham Warehouse volunteers – donation sorting, PAT Testing and van driving

Volunteer Role Description

Our Retail Centres in Gorleston, Martlesham, and Holywells, Ipswich receive many donations each day and these donations are processed and distributed among our shops.

We are currently looking for volunteers drivers based at Holywells to support the retail team there with various shifts across the week. Martlesham would like drivers to cover Saturday shifts. Gorleston require driver’s mates only.

We are also looking for PAT Testers at our Gorleston, Holywells and Martlesham sites. Please email [email protected] to confirm shift availability.

These roles help deliver and distribute the donations to our shops throughout the East Suffolk and the Great Yarmouth & Waveney area and does require a degree of manual handling, as donations come in all shapes and sizes!

We are also looking for volunteers to help sort these donations with various shifts from Monday to Saturday.

St Elizabeth Hospice has a volunteer mileage/expenses policy which allows volunteers to claim expenses and mileage incurred whilst carrying out their role for the hospice.
