Gorleston, Holywells and Martlesham Warehouse volunteers – donation sorting and van driving

Volunteer Role Description

Our Retail Centres in Gorleston, Martlesham, and Holywells Road, Ipswich receive many donations each day and these donations are processed and distributed among our shops.

We are currently looking for volunteers drivers based at Holywells Road to support the retail team there.

We are also looking for assistance on our other vans –

Gorleston – driver’s mate only

These roles help deliver and distribute the donations to our shops throughout the East Suffolk and the Great Yarmouth & Waveney area and does require a degree of manual handling, as donations come in all shapes and sizes!

We are also looking for volunteers to help sort these donations.

We have a variety of shifts for all the above roles, across the week Monday to Saturday.

St Elizabeth Hospice has a volunteer mileage/expenses policy which allows volunteers to claim expenses and mileage incurred whilst carrying out their role for the hospice.
