The Great Garden Trail 2025: Martlesham Heath Open Gardens

Come and enjoy an easy afternoon walk and discover hidden private gardens, open in aid of Martlesham Conservation Group, 1st Martlesham Scout Troop and St Elizabeth Hospice. There are many delights for gardeners. Highlights include a model railway and a Georgian Dolls’ House. Tickets and route maps available on the day from 12 noon at the Martlesham Scout Hut, or may be pre-purchased on Thursday 5 June between 6.30pm – 7.00pm. The Scout Hut is next to the church, opposite the car park by the Douglas Bader pub, in the village square.

What you need to know:

  • Dogs allowed on lead – The host of this event allows dogs on leads.*
  • Plants for sale – Plants will be available to buy at this event.
  • Partial wheelchair access – This event has wheelchair access, but access may not reach all areas.
  • Refreshments available – Refreshments will be available to purchase at this event.
  • Parking – Limited parking in or around the location.

* If the event is a group of open gardens, admission for dogs will be on a garden by garden basis, at the discretion of each owner.

Admission to this event is not included in the season pass.
