Can you walk 100 miles in 61 days?
To celebrate five years of Walk On, the hospice’s walking group for bereaved adults, take on this walking challenge to help raise funds!
The aim is for participants to walk 100 miles during September and October, with the goal of raising £1 for each mile completed.
You do not need to be bereaved to take on this challenge or join the Walk On guided walks.
After sign up you will have access to:
A series of self-guided walking routes
A selection of walks that are easy to find and navigate and include several of the popular walks offered to those who walk with Walk On.

As part of your challenge, join one of the routes undertaken regularly by our Walk On groups! A great way to meet up with others and explore new places while you register your miles.

It’s really simple to take on this walking challenge…
Step 1
Follow the link to register. There is no cost to take part!
Step 2
Once registered you will have your own Enthuse fundraising page and get access to our self-guided walk fact-sheets and links to sign up to take part in scheduled Walk On events. You will also get helpful hints and tips to, not only, achieve your distance goal, but to make the most of the experience as well.
Step 3
Begin your challenge and start fundraising. You can record your walks through the Enthuse platform. You can include your estimated miles walked, data from wearable technology or Smartphone or the stated mileage for recognised walking routes.
Aim to raise £1 for every mile you cover, committing to raise £100 to support the vital care services of St Elizabeth Hospice.

About Walk On
Walk On is a walking group for adults run by volunteers on behalf of LivingGrief, the bereavement service at St Elizabeth Hospice.
Open to all bereaved people, even if you haven’t accessed hospice services before, the Walk On group explores local places and the countryside to boost wellbeing and mental health.
We are offering walks in Ipswich & East Suffolk and also in Great Yarmouth and Waveney.
