There was a real ‘buzz’ around Zest on Friday 19 May as the young adults marked International Bee Day.
Held every year on 20 May, International Bee Day celebrates the roles of bees in the ecosystem and their importance in wildlife and the Zest young adults loved celebrating all things bee related.
As well as being International Bee Day, the Zest Days group also enjoyed tasty treats with bee-themed doughnuts as part of National Doughnut Week!
Sue Howard, from Zest, said: “We had so much fun today marking International Bee Day, the young adults loved engaging with the wide range of activities.
“From decorating bee doughnuts, creating bee-themed food wrapping paper through to a sound quiz where we guessed the animal noises, there was so much to do and lots of fun was had by all.”
Zest Days are held every Friday, at St Elizabeth Hospice from 10am-4pm, and are dedicated to young adults aged 18 and upwards.
