The community fundraising team will be out and about from Monday 13th February spreading the word about the Hospice and all the exciting events coming up this year.
Look out for them in Ipswich, Stowmarket, Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth.
We organise fundraising events for everyone whatever you’re interested in whether it’s walking, running, cycling, adrenaline rushes, golf, team building, abseiling or even dipping in the Sea!
There are also some new events this year – a second Great Xscape in Waveney, a Roses on the River remembrance cruise and an Ice Walk over shards of broken glass.
There are overseas challenges to choose from such as Climb Kilimanjaro, Cycle London to Paris or Trek the Great Wall of China.
We have also produced a leaflet with a handy list of all the 2012 events which we will be handing out during the roadshows, mailed to supporters and distributed throughout the local community. Click here to download the leaflet
We will also be promoting a different event on the Hospice’s Facebook and Twitter pages each day.
Rachael Maidment, St Elizabeth Hospice’s Community Fundraising Team Leader, said: “The Hospice needs to raise £6.6m a year to continue to provide its services free of charge so we always try and organise a range of fundraising events for supporters to choose from.
