Last chance to save for Suffolk’s first ever Bubble Rush!

There’s just days left to save money for Suffolk’s first ever Bubble Rush if you sign up before the end of June.

The fabulously frothy event is being brought to the county by local charity, St Elizabeth Hospice, and will take place on Sunday 28 August at Christchurch Park.

The bubbly event is suitable for all ages and abilities and spaces are already filling up fast, with limited places left for the blue wave.

Participants can save £5 or more if they sign up before midnight on 30 June with the early bubble offer, and there are further discounts available for family tickets.

You can walk, run, dance or jog around the 5km course at the park and there will be four ‘bubble stations’ where giant bubble cannons will blast you with colourful (and safe) foamy bubbles. Each station jets out different coloured bubbles; with a scent to go with them, and unique music to dance along to as you wade through the eruption of bubbles!

Joanne Rodger, St Elizabeth Hospice’s events and challenges fundraiser, said: “We already have more than 700 bubblers signed up for what will be ours, as well as the county’s, first ever Bubble Rush and we expect to have hundreds more sign up before the early bird offer closes.

“Bubble Rush is an ideal event to take part in with your family, friends or co-workers as it’s suitable for all ages and is fantastically frothy and fun!

“All the money raised from the event will go towards providing vital care and support to people living with a progressive illness in east Suffolk and their families.”

Hospices all over the country are organising Bubble Rush events and they are proving to be extremely popular.

Miss Rodger added: “Bubble Rush is ‘the’ event to take part in at the moment. Everyone wants to be blasted with bubbles and covered with coloured, frothy foam! It’s going to be so much fun, why wouldn’t you want to take part!”
