Hospice's first fundraising Firewalk is a sizzling success

A fundraising Firewalk and Halloween party raised more than £7,000 for St Elizabeth Hospice.
Around 150 people attended the event at Greshams Sports and Social Club in Tuddenham Road, Ipswich, on Saturday October 30th with around 30 people walking barefoot over hot coals. They raised sponsorship to carry out the challenge.
Event organiser Rachael Mittell, of St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “This was the first time we had organised a Firewalk in aid of the Hospice and we were pleased with the amount raised, which will help us to continue to provide our services free of charge.
“There was a really great atmosphere and I would like to thank everyone who supported the event.”
The event was supported by ISG Jackson
