Gala dressage evening raises £5,000 for Hospice

A gala evening hosted by international rider Daniel Sheriff at his home in Hertfordshire raised £5,000 for St Elizabeth Hospice.

Around 200 people attended the event which featured a dressage masterclass led by Daniel, demonstrations by the British Young Rider Dressage Squad (BYRDS) Quadrille and a Grand Prix Kur, as well as a champagne reception and buffet. The evening finished with a demonstration by Daniel on his stallion Bayford Hall Dallaglio.

David Wing, Hospice community fundraising manager, said: “We would like to thank everyone who attended the event, both Hospice supporters from Suffolk as well as local people from Hertfordshire. The evening was a great success and we are planning more equestrian events in the future.”
