Exclusive preview of Ed Sheeran memorabilia to be held at his old school

Fans of Ed Sheeran are being invited to his former school for an exclusive preview of a collection of his personal possessions that will soon be auctioned to support a local charity.

Ed has donated over 300 items to raise money for Zest, a new brand launched by St Elizabeth Hospice, which aims to support young adults in our region who are living with progressive and terminal illnesses. The actual auction takes place on November 10 at Bishop & Miller Auctioneers in Stowmarket but fans are being given the opportunity to see the items ahead of the auction at Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham, during half term on October 25.

Oliver Miller, Managing Director of Bishop & Miller, says: “We’ve been really excited to partner up with Zest to hold this exclusive auction at our Salesrooms in Stowmarket. The preview event will give fans the chance to get up close the Ed’s items and even make pre-bids that will be taken to the auction. We have lots that will go for tens of pounds and hopefully others that will hopefully go for thousands raising money for this great charity. Also on the day there will be one of Ed’s famous Heinz ketchup t-shirts which we will be giving visitors a chance to win. ”

Mark Wheeler, Deputy Headteacher at Thomas Mills High School, told us “Ed remains a close friend of the School and we are delighted to support him, Zest and St Elizabeth Hospice in the launch of this new and worthwhile venture. This is a great opportunity for Ed enthusiasts and a fabulous way to support a local charity.”

Tickets for the event are free however those wanting to visit the event must reserve their place at www.wearezest.org.uk.  Only 300 tickets will be released so it is advised to register early.
