This week, we take a look at two organisations who are supporting St Elizabeth Hospice on a regular basis during these challenging times.
Chestnut Group Living Tree is a group who are funding meals for NHS and frontline staff. The meals we receive on a weekly basis are prepared by The Crown Inn in Stoke By Nayland. With deliveries of meals arriving on Wednesdays and Sundays, our staff have been delighted with what they have received, many taking the time to express their happiness that the work they are doing has been appreciated.
Steamboat Tavern have also been donating on a regular basis during this time. Their Meals For Medics programme has been providing food with a focus on being able to provide meals from different menus, allowing people with different dietary needs to be catered for.
We have been overwhelmed with generosity over the last few months and we would like to thank everyone that is offering us help as we deal with the pandemic while we make sure we can continue to help as many people as possible here at the hospice and in the wider community.
