Calling all bikers for fundraising motorcycle run!

On Sunday 24th June you’re invited to join hundreds of bikers from across Suffolk for the fourth annual St Elizabeth Hospice Motorcycle Run.

The run begins at Stonham Barns in Stonham Aspal near Stowmarket, with the first bikers departing from 10am.

You can sign up on the day from 9am. Registration for the event is only £5 per person. Motorcyclists can also collect sponsorship for their run.

After a scenic 30 mile route through Suffolk’s countryside, the run will finish at the Felixstowe Motorcycle Show in the town centre, where there will be motorcycle dealers and clubs attending.

The Motorcycle Run raises money for St Elizabeth Hospice, a charity which provides services free of charge to people living with a progressive illness in Suffolk and support for their families.
The event is supported by Orwell Motorcycles and Suffolk Advanced Motorcyclists.
£5,000 for the hospice with over 400 bikers riding in convoy.

Community Fundraising Team Leader, Rachel Maidment, said “It’s a remarkable sight to see so many motorcyclists all riding for St Elizabeth Hospice. The atmosphere is amazing and it is definitely not an opportunity to be missed!”

St Elizabeth Hospice costs £8.7m a year to run and relies on the generosity of the local community for the majority of these costs.
