Thrill-seekers and daredevils are being encouraged to take part in either a fundraising abseil or bungee jump for St Elizabeth Hospice.
Taking place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th August, participants will fundraise for St Elizabeth Hospice by choosing to complete a bungee jump or take on the tallest abseil in Suffolk, at 140ft off the ground, along Ipswich Waterfront.
Both the challenges will see participants start their descent from a crane located close to the MIX Café + Bar at Ipswich’s iconic waterfront.
James Fox-Golding, Events and Challenges Manager at St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “We are excited to host these two unique fundraising challenges for hospice supporters to take on.
“Both the bungee jump and the abseil – the tallest in Suffolk – are sure to appeal to thrill-seekers, while also providing stunning views of the Ipswich skyline to take in.
“All funds raised by the challenges will go towards our services which support patients and families, living with life-limiting illness throughout East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney, providing care and reassurance when it matters most.”
Participants must pledge to raise a minimum of £250 for St Elizabeth Hospice and submit at £49 registration fee to take part.
