Community Clinical Nurse Specialist

Are you an enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist or Registered Nurse with demonstrable experience and knowledge of providing care to people with a specialist palliative care needs?

St Elizabeth Hospice continues to drive forward innovation and development of services, both in the Ipswich and East Suffolk locality and further up the coast to the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area.  In 2019 the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board awarded the specialist palliative and end of life care contract to East Coast Community Healthcare.  The contract includes a specialist palliative care service which is delivered in partnership with St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice.

This is an exciting time for St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice. It’s a time of expansion, development and investment in the Hospice Team.  We are offering an opportunity to be part of the Community Specialist Palliative Care Team and also work within our Community Care Unit influencing the holistic care of patients and carers with end of life and specialist palliative care needs.  This is a chance to make a real difference to people’s lives.

You will work with our multi-disciplinary team providing specialist palliative care advice and support to patients in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area in the community and at one of our Community Care Units.

Our most recent Care Quality Commission report rated the hospice as “Outstanding”.
