St Elizabeth Hospice employs around 300 permanent staff. Many are based at the hospice sites in Ipswich, and in our shops, while others work in the community. The variety of skills needed is wide-ranging.
Our employment team is made up of expert managers, nurses, doctors, healthcare assistants, administrative staff, fundraisers, retail employees, support professionals and therapists as well as catering and maintenance workers.

As a member of St Elizabeth Hospice staff, you have the option to join our Personal Pension plan, or if you have previously been a member of the NHS Pension Scheme then you will have the option to remain in this scheme and the Hospice will pay the employer's contributions. The St Elizabeth Hospice Personal Pension plan is a contributory scheme, with staff choosing a minimum personal contribution of 5%.
