St Elizabeth Hospice is once again encouraging the local community to throw on their brightest disco clothes and join the biggest disco party in Suffolk, as the much-loved Midnight Walk returns for 2024.
Taking place on Saturday 18th May, the Midnight Walk will once again be supported by headline sponsors, Hawk Express Cabs, and early bird tickets are now available to purchase for £12 until 29th February.
Available to all, aged 10 years and older, this year’s route is a seven mile circular walk, starting and finishing at Portman Road, the home of Ipswich Town Football Club.
James Fox-Golding, Events and Challenges Manager at St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “Our much-loved Midnight Walk is returning once more this May and we cannot wait to join with supporters, as we bring the disco atmosphere to Ipswich.
“This year marks 35 years of St Elizabeth Hospice, so we are keen for everyone to bring their biggest and brightest 1980’s disco themed outfits, harking back to the decade when we first opened our doors, to make Midnight Walk 2024 the best yet!
“With our early bird tickets now available, there is no better time to register and start encouraging friends and family to sponsor you and help you make a difference to your local hospice.”
With last year’s event raising over £160,000 to support the hospice’s vital services, the Midnight Walk returns for the 17th time offering supporters and the local community a chance to party, dress up and raise funds for the hospice through sponsorship, as well as an opportunity to remember loved ones who are no longer with us.
Midnight Walk 2024 will feature one, seven mile route, which will go past Ipswich Waterfront, The Hold, up Foxhall Road to St Elizabeth Hospice, before returning back to the town, passing Christchurch Park and finishing at Portman Road stadium.
