Our Inpatient Unit is looking for a volunteer to help support the team on a Tuesday Morning from 08.00 to 13.00 ideally, although an earlier finish time can be discussed, to help with breakfast and other morning tasks.
Some of the tasks include:-
- Serving drinks and meals to patients
- Keeping the patient areas and kitchen clean and tidy
- Assisting with maintaining stock levels
- Giving companionship to patients when appropriate
All volunteers will receive training to support them in their role.
St Elizabeth Hospice has a volunteer mileage/expenses policy which allows volunteers to claim expenses and mileage incurred whilst carrying out their role for the hospice.
