Our Beccles shop is looking for a Key Volunteer Assistant who will help with everything from receiving donations to helping on the till, but is also prepared to occasionally take on the extra responsibility of opening and closing the shop. It is not expected that you will be lone working.
We can offer you:
- The opportunity to gain customer service skills
- Experience of serving in a shop and using a till
- Add the above to your CV to improve job prospects.
- Join our friendly team and meet new people
Previous retail experience would be very useful.
We offer Key Holders a training module entitled ‘Working in a Charity Shop’ from Blue Stream training. This is funded by the hospice.
St Elizabeth Hospice has a volunteer mileage/expenses policy which allows volunteers to claim expenses and mileage incurred whilst carrying out their role for the hospice.
