Since 2006 William Barnes has been a trustee at St Elizabeth Hospice. A chartered accountant, who practiced in London, with a specialism in advising professional services firms, William is also chairman of his family firm, The Barnes Group, who have been keen hospice supporters for many years.
Outside of working life, William is involved with a number of organisations in his local village of Creeting St Mary. As a long-term environmentalist, William is involved in conservation work to benefit wildlife and actions to counter climate change.
