Join us on Suffolk Day 2018 as we join together to remember loved ones who are no longer with us.

Over 4,000 candles will glow as the sun sets across the count on Thursday 21 June as hundreds of people gather to remember and celebrate what's great about our county; our people.

Each candle at the event will be dedicated to loved ones, including pets, for a suggested donation of £5.

BBC Radio Suffolk's Wayne Bavin will compere the evening and we'll also be joined by the popular Pop Chorus and Martlesham Brass.

The event, which begins at 9pm in Felixstowe seafront gardens (next to the Spa Pavilion), is free to attend and all are welcome whether their loss is more recent or from many years ago. There's no need to have an affiliation to the hospice either. This is a local event for local people.

Candles will remain on display in the gardens until Monday 25 June.
