St Elizabeth Hospice have an exciting opportunity to join the Fundraising Team as a Fundraising Assistant. In this role, you will provide invaluable fundraising and admin support to the Community and Corporate teams along with wider support for the Fundraising team when required. You will use your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be the friendly face for the organisation and the first port of call for supporters, businesses, groups, and individuals who are looking to support or raise funds for the hospice along with assisting with administration, updating the database, attending key fundraising events and initiatives. Ideally you will have a background in administration or fundraising and able to work in a fast paced office environment and are looking to develop your career in the third sector.
This important role will help us to deliver the Fundraising Strategy and maximise income and support from local communities and businesses in East Suffolk and Great Yarmouth and Waveney. St Elizabeth Hospice are here for individuals who are living with progressive or life-limiting illnesses wherever we are needed; in their home, in the community or at the in-patient unit at our Ipswich hospice and we have to generate over 70% of our funding ourselves. Our Income generation team are key in helping us achieve this.
