Events & Challenges Manager

Status: Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week (hybrid working)

Salary: £32,290 - £34,443 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Events and Challenges Manager to lead on the development and growth of income from events and third party challenge partnerships.

You will provide strategic leadership and management for the events & challenges team to meet and where possible exceed income and other agreed KPIs.

You will have proven experience of leading and running mass participation events and will lead on our two flagship events; Midnight Walk and Christmas Day Dip but with the aim of developing the events portfolio 2023 onwards.

St Elizabeth Hospice are here for individuals who are living with progressive or life-limiting illnesses wherever we are needed; in their home, in the community or at the in-patient unit at our Ipswich hospice and we have to generate over 70% of our funding ourselves. Our Income generation team are key in helping us achieve this.
