St Elizabeth Hospice are here for individuals who are living with progressive or life-limiting illnesses wherever we are needed; in their home, in the community or at the in-patient unit at our Ipswich hospice.  Last year we supported 3,185 patients ranging from 14 years old and upwards, and we have to generate over 70% of our funding ourselves, and this crucial role helps us to achieve this.

We are looking for an Education Administrator to provide a comprehensive administration support service for the Education department to support the effective delivery of internal and external education provisions for St Elizabeth Hospice and the external education provisions for St Helena Hospice.

Acting as the first point of contact for all internal and external queries and working collaboratively with colleagues to provide proactive and efficient administration support across all education areas.   We are flexible on the days when the 24 hours can be worked but will be a minimum of 3 days.  There is also a requirement in this role to support a masterclass session between 6pm-8pm once a month but this can be done remotely.

The ideal candidate will be a resilient team player who is able to work on their own, has excellent communication skills, can manage their time effectively, prioritise workload and work well under pressure.

The hospice offers a generous holiday allowance, pension and other staff benefits.
