Developing broader networks and understanding of the model, ensuring communities have skills, capacity and appropriate networks to support each other before and after end of life.

You will manage the provision of a comprehensive community volunteering service proactively developing the recruitment and retention of community volunteers to support the delivery of the volunteer strategy. Working in partnership with line managers, key stakeholders and colleagues to shape and deliver volunteer plans and solutions in line with the needs and priorities of the Hospice.   Actively manage the Community Volunteer Recruiter(s) by providing up-to-date advice and support on a full range of people issues, including recruitment, employee relations, training and workforce planning to enable them to effectively support the line managers.
