It is anticipated that demand for palliative
care will grow by 25.4% by 2040.
To support the demand, we will need to
provide more nurses in your local community...

Our hospice nurses work across East Suffolk & Great Yarmouth and Waveney.

The majority of care is provided in patients' homes, local to you.

Our nurses also work at the Inpatient Unit at the hospice in Ipswich, give specialist support at Beccles Hospital in partnership with East Coast Community Healthcare and are available 24/7 at the end of a phone with the OneCall support line.

A monthly donation to Sponsor a Nurse will make this area of our work sustainable long into the future.

"As soon as the specialist palliative care nurses began supporting us things became easier. We are so grateful to them."

"Not only did the hospice care for dad, the nurses and staff supported us as a family too."

"Acknowledging a loved one is entering into the palliative stage is difficult but the clinical nurse specialists made this transition so much easier and it is reassuring to know you are in safe hands."

"We felt so supported as a family, from the first time our nurse came out to visit us, to the evening my wife died – we never needed to feel alone throughout the most difficult times."
