We couldn’t do it without you!

We are always seeking to make new connections with local community groups and schools, both to raise awareness of our services and to get people involved in fundraising activities.

Raising awareness

To raise awareness of St Elizabeth Hospice we regularly give talks and presentations to community groups, local companies and schools. It doesn’t matter how small or large your group is, we can arrange for an Ambassador to attend and talk about the hospice, the services it provides and how we help those with progressive illnesses. We are always looking to make sure that local people are aware of our services and how they can access them.

To enable us to continue reaching people in East Suffolk and South Norfolk with information on our services, we are always looking for volunteers who would be confident in representing the Hospice at a talk or cheque presentation. Full training and regular updates on our services are provided to all volunteers.

For more information on becoming an Ambassador, or to request a talk, please call 01473 723600 or email fundraising@stelizabethhospice.org.uk

Fundraising

We’ve got a whole host of fundraising ideas that are perfect for community groups, schools, sixth forms and colleges to get together and organise a:

Disco
Quiz
Summer fete / Christmas fair
Fashion show
Music festival
Fancy dress day / non-uniform day

Whatever you decide to do, we’ll be there to support you every step of the way. We can provide you with collection pots and buckets, produce posters for you, send your sponsor forms and list your event on our website.

We rely on the support of the community to meet the majority of our running costs: St Elizabeth Hospice costs £12.9 million a year to run, with 70% of that figure coming from the local community.
