Frailty and its links to Palliative Care

This three-hour workshop provides health and social care professionals with the essential building blocks for assessing frailty and how to construct a range of approaches and interventions to best support individual needs. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss what is understood by the term frailty and to explore the links to palliative care.

On completion of the course, you will:

  • Have increased confidence in recognising frailty and its causes
  • Develop an understanding of how frailty is assessed
  • Be aware of frailty interventions and services available
  • Be aware of how frailty links with palliative care
  • Be able to apply learning from the workshop and identify areas for further development of your own practice.
