Coping with Loss of a Patient

Identify ways in which we can cope when dealing with the loss of a patient.

• Recognise the impact of crossing professional boundaries
• Examine grief theories and acknowledge grief as a natural and appropriate response in caring professions
• Recognise compassion fatigue, build resilience and promote self-care

• Tuesday 22nd September from 9.30 am to 11.30 pm at The Learning & Development Centre, St Helena Hospice, Barncroft Close, Highwoods, England, CO4 9JU

The cost of the session is £60.00 per person.

Parking

Parking is limited at both hospice sites so we ask that you park in accordance with the highway code as poor parking creates a reputational risk for the hospices with our neighbours .  Due to the residential location of St Helena Hospice, please take note of restricted parking areas along with overflow parking option and footpath route to the hospice. Thank you for your consideration.

Cancellation Policy

Please contact us at the earliest opportunity. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for the cancellation of our courses. For cancellations within 48 hours of the event, any course fee paid will be retained. Fees will also be retained if you do not attend the session on the set date. All courses are subject to change or cancellation suitable notification will be provided.
