Suitable for doctors, specialist nurses and senior nurses working regularly with patients with palliative care needs in the community, hospital or hospice.
Sessions can be booked on an individual basis. Tickets will be available to book 6 weeks prior to the session date.
Upcoming topics are:
Wednesday 16th October – MND – disease trajectory, prognostication and advance care planning.
Thursday 17th October – Assisted Dying – Learning from home and abroad
Wednesday 20th November – MND, Withdrawal of NIV
Important Information – due to the high numbers of delegates failing to attend these sessions previously, we have reluctantly decided that any delegate failing to notify education@stelizabethhospice.org.uk before the event, or as soon as is reasonably practicable, that they are unable to attend, will be excluded from the following two sessions.
Here at St Elizabeth Hospice it is important to us that we are able include everyone with different backgrounds and make the education experience accessible for all. If you have any special requirements or need any reasonable adjustments to be made please email education@stelizabethhospice.org.uk in advance of attending the training.
