Do you have some knowledge and experience of benefits and grants either through the Department of Work and Pensions or the Citizen’s Advice Bureaux? Would you be willing to give up some of your free time to help support our patients and their families access the benefits and grants that may be available to them? Do you have a Level 3 minimum IAG? Then this is the volunteer role for you!
We are looking for a volunteer to provide a range of basic benefits advice to patients, families, carers and members of staff both one to one and on the telephone and provide assistance and guidance in completing benefit applications online and hard copies. You will keep up to date with welfare benefit changes and research benefit support for patients, carers and their families
