St Elizabeth Hospice are proud to be working in partnership with Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board (SNEE ICB), supporting the Volunteer to Career pathway with Helpforce, a national initiative to offer a pathway to a career in health and social care.
Our team are here to offer a variety of volunteer roles that support the health and social care sector, which could gain you valuable experience and ultimately a supported journey to a career in this sector. Your new career could be within the NHS or charity sector, like our hospice.
Full training is provided, including the accredited National Volunteer Certificate, 60 hours flexible volunteering over a period of 6 months is encouraged to complete the first stages of the pathway, with a view to further education if you think a career is for you.
- Inpatient Unit Ward Assistant
- IPU Ward Clerk on the In Patient Unit (administration/reception role)
