Our Volunteer Team is looking for an organised person who can provide administrative support on a Friday morning.
You would be a valuable resource and asset to the team and we hope we would offer you the opportunity to experience a variety of tasks within a pleasant and most friendly environment.
You will be using a combination of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as a hospice database system, for which you will receive training. Key activities would include:
- To record and process applications from people wishing to volunteer for the hospice.
- To undertake general admin duties as required.
- To undertake project work as agreed with the Volunteer Team.
- To assist with handling incoming and outgoing post.
St Elizabeth Hospice has a volunteer mileage/expenses policy which allows volunteers to claim expenses and mileage incurred whilst carrying out their role for the hospice.
