St Elizabeth Hospice will soon be reopening hospice services in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area and we are seeking Volunteers to care for patients in our Community units.
We will have in Community Care Units in the following locations:
- Beccles Hospital
- Solebay Clinic in Reydon
- Martham Clinic in Martham, Norfolk
Our Community Unit volunteers welcome patients to the unit, help with selecting and serving food, and also ensure the comfort of the patients while they are in the unit. Volunteers also initiate entertainment, e.g. board games, cards, quizzes, crosswords and current affairs discussions.
All care is carried out under the supervision of a registered nurse and you will need to have experience in a caring role.
