To provide assistance to the Catering Team which enables the prompt preparation and serving of all meals by the team.
This could involve basic food preparation, table setting, washing up , cleaning etc.
Also to assist the Catering Team in maintaining a high standard of hygiene within the main kitchen, servery, dining room and other kitchen areas within the Hospice. The role may also require the volunteer to operate the till and take money during the lunchtime period.
Full training will be given.
The opportunity to obtain a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate online is given, as this is essential in the preparation of food.
