Volunteer Ambassadors in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area - paused

Location: Volunteering from home

Closing Date: 01/10/2021

We have several new exciting roles for people keen to help the hospice as Ambassadors in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area. These roles aim to link us in the local community and help us to raise awareness about the work we are doing locally to support local people.  The role is aimed at people who are comfortable in going out and talking to individuals groups and schools about the work of the hospice and how their donation could help this work.

Our St Elizabeth Hospice Ambassadors are a key part of our team.  They help us to raise awareness of the Hospice’s services which in turn helps to raise vital funds within the local community to support our work.

We have two roles:

  • Community and Education Ambassadors, who will represent the Hospice at education and local events, and promote the work of the Hospice’s Education Team
  • Business Ambassadors, who will represent the Hospice and attending invited networking events

Each of these roles will involve giving talks about the Hospice and its work and you will be offered training in presentation skills to help you in this. This could in turn help you in your future career.

We especially welcome people who have had previous experience of the hospice.

You can find further details of the two roles below.

If you think one of these roles would suit you please apply using the link below and please let us know on your application which role you are applying for.
