Volunteer People and Culture Administration Assistant

Location: Ipswich

Our People & Culture team is looking for an organised person who can provide administrative support to the team.

You would be a valuable resource and asset to the team and we hope we would offer you the opportunity to experience a variety of tasks within a pleasant and most friendly environment.

You will be using a combination of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as a Hospice database system, for which you will receive training. Key activities would include:

  • To undertake photocopying, shredding, scanning, archiving and filing
  • To undertake general admin duties within the team. This may include preparing template letters and data input so knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential
  • To produce induction packs for new employees
  • To send out email reminders regarding monthly reviews and annual appraisals and update files and trackers accordingly
  • To produce and issue weekly Vacancy Updates
  • To undertake project work as agreed with the P&C Team

Currently we have vacancies for either mornings or afternoons on Tuesdays.
