We are looking to recruit a team of warm, caring and empathetic Community Volunteers to provide support to people living in their own homes.
The support provided may include tasks such as collecting and delivering shopping, collecting medication, making a snack or drink, light housework and gardening or visiting to provide carer/ loved one respite, reassurance or a cup of tea and a chat.
We have many patients requesting support in their own homes, across various locations in Suffolk but in particular – Saxmundham, Ipswich, Woodbridge, Eye, Felixstowe and Stowmarket areas. Visits can sometimes be up to 4 hours, but usually would be much less.
