Community Care Unit Clinical Stores Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to assist us with our Community Care Unit Clinical Stores at the hospice.

Join our dynamic team as the guardian of our clinical stores in our busy Community Care Unit! You’ll ensure that the stores are kept tidy and items rotated to avoid going out of date. This pivotal role offers the chance to be at the heart of our mission, ensuring every resource is optimised to support our vital work. If you thrive in an environment where attention to detail makes a difference, this is the opportunity for you!

Key tasks will include

  • To ensure items are stored in date order
  • To ensure the return of unwanted or incorrect items to Ipswich Hospital
  • To assist the Maintenance Supervisor in the delivery and collection of goods to and from the Hospital
  • To collect units of blood from Ipswich Hospital if required

Please note, a full clean driving licence is required, and the hospice will be required to undertake relevant driving checks on the applicant. Minimum age 21.

St Elizabeth Hospice has a volunteer mileage/expenses policy which allows volunteers to claim expenses and mileage incurred whilst carrying out their role for the hospice.
